The property location is excellent, very close to the historic centre of Seville. The centre is a rabbit warren of streets but the hotel provided us with a map and we soon found ourselves navigating the narrow streets. The breakfast was quite adequate, fair range of breads and pastries, so we were able to fill up. There was some hot food but not to our taste. There was also a range of yoghurts, meat, cheese, fresh fruit and a couple of cereals so hopefully enough to satisfy most people’s taste. Importantly for us the coffee was quite decent despite it being from a machine. We travelled in March and the weather was fantastic so every late afternoon we sat on the terrace and soaked up the sunshine. Unfortunately the terrace bar was not open and it does state it is a seasonal bar but we took our own drinks with us. The room itself was very clean and the decor of the hotel was historic and interesting. There are lifts in the hotel although they are quite small. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and our rooms were cleaned every day.

The location couldn't be better, everything is within 5 to 15 minutes walk. The room was smaller than I expected, and would have preferred a double bed, but I loved the spacious terrace and it was always spotlessly clean. The roof terrace is absolutely beautiful. The reception staff were MARVELLOUS, so friendly and reliable great! The breakfast was good, as far as fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee are concerned. I was not impressed by the cooked breakfast being exactly the same every day (at least each one of the three breakfasts I had at hotel), and seemed like the scrambled eggs were out of a packet rather than fresh. Hotel Murillo is an excellent place to stay for the price, but I would make an effort to stay at their more luxurious Suites Murillo next time, specially as they magnificent reception staff is the same as far as I understand.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Sevilla. It is consistently good and good value in an expensive city. Great location in a quiet alley in the barrio Santa Cruz within easy walking distance of many of the main sites and restaurants. It is also a short 10-15 minute walk from the San Sebastián bus station. The hotel has a welcoming museum-like lobby of historical artifacts and helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts with lots of fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, breads, pastries and typical Spanish options. Quiet A/C. Wifi worked well in room and common areas.

The room was warm and clean (December trip) very firm beds with 2 pillows each. The bathroom was a bit dated but functional and spotlessly clean. The room was attended to every day, cleaned thoroughly and provided with fresh towels. Reception staff were always friendly, helpful and informative. Bags were kept safely after our check out time. There wasn’t a safe in our room (superior dbl) but there was coffee making facilities. The added bonus of a sun trap balcony was glorious on the warm afternoons. The location of this hotel is excellent, central and easy to walk to the main parts of the city.

Very central hotel, a bit difficult to find at first, but in a very historic and atmospheric part of the city, close to Alcazar and cathedral. The hotel reception areas feel like you in a museum (in a nice way ) with period features. Staff pleasant, especially the breakfast staff. Room nice, although we only had a view facing a wall. Fridge in room. Shower and bath. Did request a quiet room away from the lift and they did sort that for us. All in all a nice stay, shame about the weather.
